Prospective students should have acquired 62 credits as per the credit system of the University of Tokyo. Here, 2 credits will contain 13 weeks of 105-minute lectures.

What Are the Documents Required?

There are two procedures conducted by the University of Tokyo for admission of the students. For those qualified from Japanese high schools, the General Screening Test is conducted. On the other hand, international students who have graduated from high schools in other countries have to undergo Special Screening Tests.

  • Scores in EJU. EJU stands for Examination for Japanese University Admission with Japanese as a foreign language

Undergraduate and graduate admissions for the university are accepted to start in April and in October. Typically, undergraduate information will be usually available nine months (approximately) in advance and applications have to be submitted four months in advance.
